Emma entered into the world of events and conferences in 2004 after graduating with a degree in Communications from the University of Leeds, UK. After moving back to Calgary to be closer to her family in 2006 she quickly jumped head first into the world of production, producing and stage managing galas with A-list entertainment, televised Olympic Hall of Fame dinners, sport tournaments and concerts, and large scale conferences across Canada.

Her time in Calgary culminated with the highlight of her career to date – producing and stage managing His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s public address to a full house at the Saddledome. Emma moved to Vancouver during the excitement of the Olympics in 2010 and was quickly approached up by the TED conferences production team. After three years and eight TED Conferences, spent building out the event space and executing sponsor activations, Emma has spent the last two and half years with one of the largest international event companies in the world – MCI Group. Promptly promoted from Project Manager to Director of Project Operations, Emma oversaw over 30 events a year. From international conferences with over 4000 attendees, to smaller ‘hosted-buyer’ Government events with high profile media, her most memorable event with MCI has been project managing the 2013 United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit in New York, NY.
